thats literally every game ever, winning is fun to most so people are confused why people straw away from a meta. This isn't news.

The best thing about Souls game is the gatekeeping and talking smack about other people's builds. The truly annoying people are the backseaters. I know Aris loves getting backseated lol, but backseaters have basically ruined Elden Ring as a viewing experience, because they tell every streamer where to go, in what order and where to grab the busted braindead katana. So as a result of backseaters 99% of youtube and twitch streamers all play this game exactly the same way with the same baby mode build.

Some people in the comments saying "Zero self awareness", "Literally describing himself", or "Aris sounding like an old hypocrite"... I guess they've been taking Aris seriously all this time, and I also have suspicions that they will continue to do so even after seeing this video.
